In Igbo, the language of our founder's people in southeastern Nigeria, obi means spirit. It is also the first three letters of his family name, Obiozor. The company carries both: a heritage he is proud of, and a personal promise to stand behind everything it builds.

Martin Obiozor is a forward thinker and successful entrepreneur with more than 30 years of business consulting experience and a rare ability to see the solution to a business puzzle, large or small. He also spent more than 25 years as a data scientist at a Fortune 5 company, and he brings that data-driven discipline to everything he builds.

He founded Empowered Pulse, a Houston consulting firm that guides and mentors small business owners through a customized marketing plan for growth and profitability. He starts by listening to each client's story and where they want to go, then puts the right systems in place to get them there. Martin is the author of Dominate Local Marketing and co-author of The Freelance Client Pipeline and Nonprofits 1-2-3.

A proud son of the Igbo people of Nigeria, Martin built Obi Wizard Inc. to hold the brands he has started and the ones still to come, each one rooted in the same idea: when people have the right guide, more is possible than they think.
